Bambu labs chamber fan vents chamber air through a filter into the room. If you are trying to maintain chamber heat this is no good. It exhausts out th e "wanted" warm air and creates a vacuum effect sucking in cold air from the poop shoot and the air gaps around the door. This effect is undesirable fo r temperature-sensitive materials such as ABS and PC. But what if you also don’t like the idea of a VOC hanging around in the chamber and condensing on everything? Not to mention a cloud of it when you open the door?

Well as the AUX fan is already in there…. lets put it to use.

The filter comes in 3 parts. A base plate you stick to your Aux fan with your adhesive of choice, a rotate in place housing you place your filter in and a AUX fan air flow redirector which prevents direct air flow hitting your print.

I have tried 40% AUX fan power on a 14hr ABS print with no ill effects on the print. Whilst non scientifically noticing an improvement to the smell. (imo)
