In the report, users said that these devices may overheat and break down, which may cause burning, sparking or fire. There are also two reports that these devices have caused minor damage to power outlets. However, there are no reports of fire or casualties caused by heater failure.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission advises consumers who have bought this product to unplug it and stop using it, and apply for a refund. In addition, Amazon will also send an email to consumers to inform them.
