Dahong has two CF production lines (70,000 pieces/month for 45 generations and 60,000 pieces/month for 35 generations) and a dedicated line for 3.5 generations of Touch Panel (60,000 pieces/month), which translates into a monthly production capacity of 400,000 pieces for 12-inch TP; Dahong plans to convert part of the production capacity of the 4.5 generation line into TP, and it is estimated that it will be expanded to 1 million pieces of 12.1-inch TP by the end of 2009. The customer development strategy is to coordinate the design between NB brand manufacturers and AUO, a panel factory of the group, which will accelerate the development pace; Qunyi believes that Dahong is the first to pass the Windows 7 Touch Logo certification, and the 12.1-inch panel is expected to be applied to brands such as HP and Dell. The main reason is that the brand needs customers to develop existing products such as touch Tablet PC and high-end business computer for a long time, and they have solid products. In the future, they only need to change the resistive technology into a capacitive one that supports multi-touch, and the import threshold is low. Hexin has a CF production line (100,000 tablets/month in 5.3 generations). Because its production line planning makes it more flexible to produce different products, it is planned to share part of the production capacity (including sputtering, yellow light, etc.) between CF and TP at present. TP initially accounts for about 15% of the production capacity, and will gradually expand to 45%~55% in 2010. Due to the large size of Hexin glass substrate, the production of large-size panels is of great economies of scale, and the production of a small number of diverse small-size panels is hindered by high initial development cost. Therefore, its customer development direction focuses on digesting a large amount of production capacity. Qunyi believes that Hexin will play an advantage in the public touch panel of white-brand mobile phones in mainland China, mobile phone brands with single model and large output, and large-size touch panels such as Netbook and NB. Because of its large production capacity, it is also expected to OEM ITO glass for other touch panel manufacturers.
