TriQuint’s new filter solution makes full use of the advantages of bulk acoustic wave technology, including high RF power processing capability superior to other filtering solutions. In addition to compact board area, TriQuint’s bulk acoustic wave filter provides greater temperature stability at microwave frequencies. They are very suitable for base stations, repeaters, distributed antenna systems, tower amplifiers and many other wireless system applications.
TriQuint’s new 885024 and 885025 bulk acoustic wave filters cover the downlink and uplink paths of wireless band 2, respectively. The center frequency of 885024 is 1960 MHz, the passband is 1930~1990 MHz, and the RF power processing capacity is +33dBm(2W). The center frequency of 885025 is 1880 MHz, the passband is 1850~1910 MHz, and the RF power processing capacity is +30dBm(1W). The insertion loss of these two bulk acoustic band-pass filters is 5.5dB or less, and the suppression at 1920 MHz is 20dB.
The new 885009 filter covers the uplink band of frequency band 7, with a center frequency of 2535 MHz, a passband of 2500~2570 MHz, a RF power handling capacity of +30dBm (1W), a rejection of 30dB at 2170MHz and an insertion loss of 3.5dB or less. All three types of bulk acoustic wave filters have a narrow transition bandwidth (from passband to stopband), which helps to achieve better signal suppression, and they do not need an external 50Ω matching circuit.
Technical details:
These three new bulk acoustic band-pass filters have now entered the stage of full production, which can provide samples and evaluation devices.
